Problem: Needed a way to create and place new 'smart' details from standards and re-use details from existing drawings
Solution: Developed a Windows Wizard architecture to place details from standard

Highlights:

  • Places 'Smart' details from standard details library
  • Easily re-use existing details from previous projects
  • Option to automatically create new detail sheet and fill in title block
  • ASCII config. file determines detail choices
  • Copies details to standard six quadrant detail positions in sheet
